Season South American Walnut End Grain Chopping Board

A heavy duty chopping board made from deep walnut – as beautiful to look at as it is to use. One side has a groove all round to collect juices or crumbs, the other side is plain.
Dimensions and weight:
Large: 43 x 33 x 3cm, 2.63kg
Small: 35 x 25 x 2.5cm, 1.3kg
Care: wash and dry after use – do not leave soaked in water. Not suitable for the dishwasher. Protect and nourish your board regularly with Season Chopping Board Oil.
The large size has handle indents in the middle of the sides, the small has indents for lifting at the bottom of the sides.
Durable
Due to its naturally high oil content, walnut is more resistant to moisture than most woods – one of the reasons these boards are so durable. We finish the board with oil to add an extra layer of protection.
Keep knives sharper for longer
The hardwood end-grain provides just the right amount of give to keep knives sharp (and it looks lovely).
Sustainably and ethically produced
Harvested from a forest in South America, trees are cut down that ‘thin out’ the forest to ensure its continued health, and provide quality jobs in a traditionally low-income area. For this reason, they’re Forestry Stewardship Council approved.
