Silverwood Delia Little Gem Saucepan 16 cm Heavy Gauge Aluminium
Delia has joined forces with Silverwood to create the Little Gem Sauce Pan, as used in her Delia Online Cookery School.
The Little Gem Saucepan is just that a ˜sauce pan”!
It is perfect for flour based sauces such a cheese sauce and parsley sauce and what Delia Smith calls proper custard!
This saucepan is made from heavy gauge aluminium which is an excellent conductor of heat and as long as you are cooking at a suitable temperature, you can rest assured that there will be no sticking, no catching and no scorching.
The Little Gem Saucepan is suitable for all heat sources, except induction.
While it is not dishwasher safe, it is really easy to clean Delia Smith recommends just get into the habit of soaking them in cold water to get rid of any residue, then they will be easy to wash in warm, soapy water and it will give you much more room in the dishwasher for other items.
We have had some great feedback from customers who have bought the Little Gem Saucepan:
“Great little pan cooks sauces to perfection.”
“I have wanted one of these saucepans for years. Bought the frying pan when they were first issued, but not the saucepan, and then spent many years regretting it. So, am delighted with the Little Gem.”
